Event dates confirmed for our 40th Anniversary Season!

2026 is the 40th Anniversary Season for the Power Scale Soaring Association!

Here’s confirmation of the 7 planned events we’re running between April and October, intentionally avoiding Bank Holiday weekends and key dates in the UK modelling and full-size aviation diary.

Please note that the April and May events WILL NOT RUN at The Great Orme if the prevailing winds are from the East – this is due to slope access restrictions in place above the pier (Nesting Birds, protected species). If this occurs a decision will be made in the week before the event and we would look to defer the date as best we can.

We’ve elected this year to make the Lleyn PSS Fly-in just 5 days long with a focus on a single weekend, aiding attendance for any competition plans. The event at the Orme in September will showcase our Harvard/Texan ‘Mass Build’ project bringing all the finished models together for the first time and is our showcase event for the 40th Anniversary celebrations.

All event dates as shown are confirmed and agreed where needed with local clubs, councils and relevant flying groups. Fingers crossed we are blessed with the weather to run our plans in full – it should be a great season ahead!
