Promising forecast for White Horse Event 3rd August!

It’s looking good for our planned PSSA event at the Westbury White Horse site this weekend with a dominant Westerly wind putting us firmly on the West facing slope, Saturday at least!

PSSA member Martin Gay will be running the event and the plan is for a brief at the slope from 10am on Saturday morning.

Sunday looks like the winds move a little more South Westerly which may mean flying is not possible and this may yet become a 1 day event – a decision on that will be made on the Saturday with a more refined forecast available.

Reminder that proof of BMFA (or equivalent) Insurance and Pilot Competency certificate is required.  All models to be fitted with compliant CAA OpID number.
