Dates confirmed for our 2024 Events calendar!

The dates for planned PSSA events in 2024 are now confirmed with a total of 8 weekends set up between mid April and October.

Something new this year with us running a ‘festival’ of PSS activity in association with the Lleyn MAC, with two back to back weekends and full slope access for the 5 days in-between, allowing a 9 day sloping holiday on the peninsula for those who are able to attend in full!  The formal PSSA ‘event’ will be run over the second weekend in that window (5-7th July).

There are 4 planned weekends at the Great Orme, and we return to the Bwlch again in August having enjoyed such a successful weekend there in 2023.  Note that at the Orme event in May, we are planning to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, with a themed event for models painted up with the classic Allied invasion stripes.  If you have a PSS model of an allied aircraft from the era, do please add some invasion stripes to it and join us that weekend!

Although not run by the PSSA, we have been invited to fly once again at the North Yorkshire Moors PSS event running on Sunday 12th May at The Hole of Horcum.
