Sabre plans and CNC short kit now available to order!
G&M Models have officially launched the 2020 Mass Build F-86 Sabre – the plans and CNC woodpack are now available to order from 1st August.

Building itself isn’t due to formally commence until 1st November, there’s already been a flurry of activity (including some insight into the building of the Beta and Gamma prototypes) on the forum HERE.
The plan and woodpack ‘bundle’ is available at a price of just £70.00 – Copies of the 2 sheet plan are available at £16.00

Bob – you’ve completed your Sabre build already!?!? Wow!
I’m not sure what version of the plan you have – my kit came with plan v15 – and on the bottom right hand corner of sht 1 the throws are stated such;
Rudder +/- 25mm
Elevator +/- 7mm
Aileron +20mm -8mm
Crow – Flaps 25mm down, Ailerons 11mm up with -6mm elevator compensation (down elevator)
There is no recommended set up for expo – this is a personal thing really some pilots like none, some like plenty, dependant on flying style. Personally I would start with -30% on elevator and ailerons to give a nice soft spot around the centres… but each to their own.
If you have finished the build so soon – any feedback or pictures of your new creation???

Thanks for your interest in our Sabre – the model is 43.5inch span and yes, it’s a fully built up model in balsa and light ply. The kit is now manufactured by Laser Cut Sailplanes and can be bought with the plans direct from them. The canopy is manufactured by Vortex Vacforms.
