North Westerlies again at The Great Orme!

The PSSA returned to the Great Orme, Llandudno (6th/7th August) on a weekend forecast to be dominated by high pressure and with what winds there were coming once again from the North West!  It does feel an awfully long time since we flew an event from the most preferred South West slope…

Despite wind speeds no greater than 15mph all weekend flying did take place from Friday lunchtime until Sunday evening with us making the most of the conditions with the right type of PSS model, typically small to mid-sized lighter-loaded types doing best.  The sun shone throughout and a full weekends flying was achieved in very warm conditions – many thanks to all who travelled and took part!
