The Hunting Percival Jet Provost Collection

Not an over popular design but one which has been proven recently to work very well in PSS.

Andy Blackburn designed and built this T.3 version of the Jet Provost for the 2005 season.

It is fully built up from balsa and is covered in a gloss iron on film to represent a machine from 7FTS at RAF Church Fenton.

She spans just 38.5" but has a low wing loading of 14oz/sq ft - making it a good 'all-rounder' model on its Selig S7055 section.

Close up of the cockpit on Andy's Jet Provost showing its relatively clean lines, neat covering and just the right amount of cockpit detail.

The plan for this model is available through Traplet Publications as plan MW3182.

A decal sheet is also available through Pyramid Models.

Terry Lidstone built his rendition of the RAF Trainer as a test build from Andy's initial plans.  It is finished in an early silver and 'Hi-Vis' orange scheme.

This model 'bristles' with scale detail and is fitted with working rudder and flaps.  Despite its higher AUW its performance is comparable to Andy's prototype.
