The Gloster Meteor Collection

The Gloster Meteor holds a lot of heritage in the UK as the RAF's first jet fighter.  With its clean lines and ample wing area it was always a natural choice for PSS.  As seen here it has been successfully modelled and flown since the earliest days of the PSSA.

The famous Gloster Meteor, the RAFs first jet fighter, designed and built by Ron Collins.

Ron is seen here with his model at the Clwyd PSS meet in 1985.

Peter Hofer holds his Gloster Meteor up for the camera, built from the well proven Ron Collins' plan.

The model spans 52" and uses 2 channel radio to control ailerons and elevator.
