Rez Manzoori lends scale to his mighty PSS Grumman Avenger, converted successfully from a vintage I/C power kit.

The model spans an impressive 82" and has an AUW of 14lb, giving it a wing loading of 32oz/sq ft.

It is finished in GlossTex and Solarfilm with the self adhesive trim and decals all hand cut by Rez.

Model seen at rest prior to its successful  maiden flight at the Great Orme PSSA Fly-In, October 2011.

The Avenger has a conventional built up fuselage and tail and uses a huge, two-piece veneered foam wing.  It is fitted with 4 servos for ailerons, elevator and rudder.

Rez flew the Avenger for the first time at the end of the 2011 season.  It flew beautifully, very smooth with good energy retention.  An impressive PSS model.
