North American FJ-4 Fury designed and built by Steve Griffiths.

Model is seen here at rest at the 2003 Lleyn PSSA event. 

Model is made using a balsa-clad foam fuselage, with  veneered foam wings and tail surfaces.  It is built to 1:12 scale, spans 39" and has an AUW of 27oz.  This gives it an impressive wing loading of just 11.4 oz.sqft.

The N.A. FJ-4 Fury captured in flight at the Peak District Event of 2003 at Bosley Cloud.  The model benefits from its light loading and performs well in less than ideal PSS conditions.
